Personal Values

Top 10 Values
1. God/Religion
2. Family
3. Self-Confidence
4. Love
5. Integrity
6. Kindness
7. Service
8. Interaction with Others
9. Positive Influences
10. Hard Work
-God/Religion: Is the reason I do what I do. It is the reason I believe what I believe. These affect my career choice because I will always choose my God over my career.
-Family: Is very important to me, and I know they will always be there for me. My future career needs to allow me to spend quality time with them. However, also must provide for them with a sufficient income.
-Self-Confidence: This allows me to do the things I do cheerfully and excitedly. I have to be confident in myself if I am going to be successful in anything. My career must help motivate me.
-Love: This allows me to enjoy everything I do. If I do not love my job, it will be hard for me to be motivated.
-Integrity: This allows me to be trusted and to trust in others. Lack of integrity creates big problems in any family or community environment. I need to be surrounded in a work environment with people of integrity.
-Kindness: This goes a long ways. Being kind has an immediate effect on everyone with whom we interact. If I am kind to others and they are kind to me, no matter what happens, we can develop a positive relationship.
-Service: I want to help people feel better about themselves and feel like a burden has been lifted from their shoulders. My career should help in accomplishing this.
-Interaction with Others: I am a people-person. I want to interact with others in my future career because I know I am happier when I do.
-Positive Influences: These have a big effect on everyday life. If our influences are negative and pessimistic, we often become those people. A positive work environment is where I want to be.
-Hard Work: This brings a sense of accomplishment and achievement. These feelings motivate me each and every day.
I do not think these values will change in my life. Many other values that I believe in exist that are not on my top ten list, so I could see a few of them getting rearranged.
